Frequently Asked Questions
The things guests ask us most often. If your question is not here, the reception desk answers the phone around the clock.
Booking
How do I get the best rate?
Book directly on this website. Our Best Available Rate is guaranteed to match or beat any third-party price for the same room and dates, and direct bookings carry no booking fee.
Can I hold a room without paying?
Yes. The Flexible Rate takes no payment at the time of booking and can be cancelled free of charge until 48 hours before arrival. The Best Available and Advance Saver rates are prepaid and non-refundable.
Do you accept group bookings?
For five rooms or more, contact the reservations team directly rather than booking online — group rates and terms differ from the published rates.
What payment methods do you accept?
Online reservations are paid by bank transfer using the instructions shown after booking. At the hotel, reception accepts cash in Tunisian dinar. Card payments are not currently available.
Your stay
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in from 14:00, check-out until 12:00. Reception is staffed 24 hours, so a late arrival is never a problem — tell us your flight or train and we will expect you. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability on the day.
Is breakfast included?
Le Bunker, the hotel café, serves a continental buffet breakfast every morning, and it can be brought to your room on request. Whether it is included depends on the rate you choose; the booking form shows the price before you confirm.
Can I bring my children?
Children of all ages are welcome. Children over four are charged at the adult rate. The hotel has no cots and no extra beds, so a family needs enough beds in the room — the Superior Triple has three singles, and interconnecting rooms can be requested.
Do you allow pets?
Pets are not permitted.
Facilities
Is there a gym?
Yes. The fitness centre is free to use for anyone staying at the hotel, and there is a common lounge where sports fixtures are shown.
Is parking available?
The hotel has no parking of its own. There is paid public parking nearby, no reservation needed. Note that the hotel adjoins the Ministry of the Interior: the side streets are closed by security and luggage cannot be unloaded at the door, so plan to walk the last short stretch.
Is Wi-Fi really free?
Yes — free in every room and every public area of the hotel, included in the rate, with nothing to sign up for.
Getting here
How far is the airport?
Tunis-Carthage Airport is 5 km away, about fifteen minutes by car. Taxis wait outside the terminal; the hotel does not run a shuttle and does not arrange transfers.
How central is the hotel?
Very. The city centre is 200 m away, Avenue Habib Bourguiba is a short walk, the médina is five minutes on foot and Tunis railway station is 600 m.
